Move It: Part 2
Part 2 is hereeee!!
Okay guyss so as promisedd I have the second post here for you guys in the Move It Series... If you didnt see the first post, I suggest you check it out before or after you read this one!
Part 2 is all about various workout ideas that are mainly targeting legs and butt and as this series continues we will switch it up. If you had a special request feel free to shoot me a message and that way I can target what you guys want faster. Anywayss straight into PART 2!!!!
Im definitely no fitness expert but I just decided to share some things that work for me and I like doing for workouts. Remember everyone is different and different things work for different people but you can always give it a try and see if it helps you.
I had chosen to work with resistance and exercise bands this time around.. These are great equipment that are prefect for at home, traveling andd you can even carry it to the gym with you..
They are super easy to use and most of all pretty fun, well atleast in my opinion!
First these exercise bands i am using are from a company called ZAGstrong. The bands come in sets of 5 from a easy - hard resistance level... They also come with foot and door attachments. As I said before they are super easy to use and even come with an instructions manual like the one below that has tons of different ideas of ways to use your exercise bands.
2 X 10 reps each foot
15X 3 Reps each foot back
20 sec holding each leg 4 times
15-25 reps X 3
15 x 3 reps
For this you're pulling towards yourself and equalizing your weight to keep your balance.

Secondly I used resistance bands... I like to finish up my workout with a booty blaster using resistance bands. These bands i got for super cheap at target. They are awesome and great for multi-use.

15x3 sets each leg : Moving leg in an upward motion leading with the calf of the leg.
25x3 sets each side : Moving leg side to side, in an opening and closing motion

Many people think ‘get smaller’ when they hear working out. But actually, working out is about muscle building and toning and many people want to actually become bigger. So some tips when it comes to gaining weight are to eat veggies along with mostly proteins and healthy carbohydrates like sweet potato, yam, breadfruit, etc. “People always say if you want to gain weight, eat more and more junk food.. but thats completely wrong.. that’s fat gain, that’s unhealthy gain. What people want is gain in mass and muscle volume. To gain weight and muscle mass, I drink protein shakes, eat raw oats, cooked egg whites and peanut butter. I also use amino energy before I work out.” - Gina. To gain muscle fast, every 3-5 weeks, increase weights (to a manageable weight) and reduce reps.
Tips:
-Follow hot people on instagram (trust me it motivates you)
-Drink loads of water
-Find a gym partner who will push you
-Start morning fitness routines (eg. “When my sister was home, we would plank for 3 minutes every morning”)
-Take Before and After pictures to see your progress for yourself
Favourite at home workouts:
-Dead Lifts using weights
-Basic Squats with/without weights
-Ab Roller
-Lunges
-Hamstring curls
-Basic Crunches
-Leg lifts
-Planking
-Leg Kickbacks
