Guysss im backk!! And here is my full review on my stay at the Melia Braco Village Hotel.
Firstly it's not your typical or traditional resort kinda look it's more of an open town kinda concept. Almost like a city with brick roads that you would see horses riding on the streets kinda vibe. It's a huge property and the rooms, dining areas and pool are closer to the back where the beach is.
Firstly the rooms are beautiful... Like absolutely beautiful... Some of the prettiest rooms I have seen in a while to be very honest. Super Modern and ultra cute. The bedding and all that is super comfy and very cute also. Guys i'm sorry but I will be saying cute alot cause honestly this place really was!!!
Next the property is set up like a guest house kinda vibe with the villas side by side along a vast stretch. There is only 2 levels to each villa. During my stay I was room 0306. But one thing I noticed is because of the number of villas and the space available the maximum occupancy for this hotel is very small but it gave the hotel a very cozy feel which I loved. The property has a gym, salon, spa, 2 gift shops, a nurses office and 4 additional restaurants.
My day at the gym was a good one (one out of my 5 day stay, yes Iknow I was bad) they have the basic machinery you need as well as a comfy space just to do your own thing.. Not a huge gym but small and neat. (Most ideal when empty like when I went!!) The spa is also very nice... During my stay I managed to get a little massage which was soothing and relaxing. The inside of the spa was pretty, clean and just the right vibe to set that time away tone.
On to the pools and food now!! There was just 1 pool available which in my opinion was a bit small but I guess because of small maximum capacity of this hotel there wouldn't be a need for a large pool right? And the truth is even when I was in the pool I honestly didn't feel chuck up so I guess it was okay. The view behind the pool of the ocean was awesome you could also see it right outside the dining room... Which leads me to FOODD!!
Okay so food to be very honest.. Food was up and down for me..They had good days and bad days.. They weren't very consistent in terms of always having something that was good. Except for the pan chicken and grill pork they had in between the pool and beach which was bomb!
Because of the size of the dining area there wasn't much options in terms of food either. I won't lie though I would say usually breakfast or dinner would have been my best meal. If you end up going I would recommend the Croissant at breakfast... Like i'm not even playing with you I had about 6 a day no joke.... They were SOOOO GOOOD and addictive. That was my highlight every morning waking up to eat croissants until I felt guilty that I should leave some for the rest of the guests...Hahaha
Dinner I would recommend 876 Prime which is a steak house which is more of a dressy vibe or Rasta Pasta which is a Jamaican Italian vibe.
Lastly on the topic of food is rooom service which was pretty good for me 1 day and not so great the other.. The first day I had it the food was bomb and the timing was good then the 2nd day I had it they took forever and its almost like they forgot the meal, it arrived over an hour late and just wasn't that good for me but luckily day 1 was so good it overthrew day 2 of room service for me.
Anyways guys I would give Melia a 3.5 out of 5 stars...it wasn't the most amazing trip I've ever had but It certainly was a great one. They just opened in Jan 2016 so they are still pretty new and have some growth to do but so far so good. The staff were friendly some a little flirty LOL butt I had a great time and it was a great getaway!
Below are some pics that basically sum up my stay!
