L.A Diaries Part 1

Okay I know I have been gonne foreverr... But I am backk and better! So much has been going on over the last few weeks and I'm super glad that I am back and ready to get back on the blog grind!

So as some of you that have me on snapchat and insta may know I recently went to California and had blast! So I decided to share my trip and take you guys along with me and experience Cali through my eyes... I hope you all enjoy this post series and I will see you in part 2!

DAY 1- Arriving to SFO

Soo after a 6 1/2 hr plane ride from MIA I finally arrived in cali!!

Day 2 - LA Bound

P.S (So I has a day to chill before heading to LA but it was very chill so I just documented all the days I was active and did something interesting )

Okaayy well the drive from the Bay to LA was 5 1/2 hrs , Sooo this was definitely a roadtrip!!!

But have no fear the best DJ was (aka me) present to make the ride a bit more bearable!! This was a long boring trip of just open fields and roads but finally we got to LA! Once we checked into our HomeAway (it's just like Airbnb) we just ordered in and rested up for our full upcoming day.

Day 3- Runyon & Urth

Day 3 started with an early morning hike and brunch after! L.A is super chill and beautiful but its just like NYC in the sense that there is never parking. We got up with the intention to hike runyon but really our hike started from the walk from the car.. Like seriously we parked about a mile away because there was no parking near by..Nevertheless that exercise was much needed before the food up next! Runyon is a beautiful site seeing nature full hike that is where all of the natives get a stretch and take their pups out for a walk. When I say L.A is dog country I MEAN IT!! Every person has a dog literallly.... Side note about Runyon if you choose to hike back down make sure you have non-slip sneakers becauusee it can get messy if you don't have good balance!

Next stop was some well deserved breakfast!! I had picked Urth Cafe due to all the rave reviews and

I must say it loves up to its name every bit!! One of my favorite food spots in LA had to be Urth like seriously amazingg!! I had ordered the Green Buba Tea (SENSATIONAL is all I'm saying) and a Belgium Waffle with fruit, which was also amazingggg!! So there is nothing left to say other than I loved Urth! I will give more food details in an upcoming post on all my fav food spots in LA!

After breakfast we headed home and got dressed then went to Topanga Mall. The homeaway we stayed in was a super great location which was very central and basically 15-20 mins away from everywhere.

Topanga Mall was a very nice mall with a mix of both high/medium end stores as well as cheaper lower end stores. So the price-points where great for that vacation shopping. After shopping we hit up our next food stop which we went to by default because where we originally planned to go to was closed. I ate pasta which was not exactly what I wanted but was enough to fill me up.

Day 4-

As you guys know I'm a foodie so sunday morning started out with Brunch at one of my other fav spots on Melrose. This place was a great find and had amazing food!! Side note its very busy on the weekends but super chill and quiet on weekdays.

This was Fratelli on Melrose where I had oats and fruit as well as French toast.. This was seriouslyy bombbb and I loved every bit of it!

Next stop was the grove which was a higher end shopping terrace with tons of all your favourite shops! The grove seriously gives me Disney World vibes because of how it is set up but I loved it! Things I didn't like were that you have to pay to park and also that they scam you with the free parking once you spend over $250 in the grove which I found out is only half the mall from topshop down and the other half which is Zara down is seemly the farmers market section I believe so please watch out for that!!

After a very crowded excursion at the grove and over spending in Zara we headed to Santa Monica pier where the crowd really came to life. Parking was killer so we had a nice walk to the pier but Santa Monica was a honestly a nice vibe. Another thing I never knew about LA was how cold or chilly it can get well to me. So I definitely suggest always carry a jacket or sweater with you especially as the night falls!!

Lastly we had dinner at the cutest Indian Spot where the ambiance was just as great as the prices and the food.

Welll guyss this concludess part 1 of my LA diaries don't worry part 2 will be coming in just as hott!!

Also all food and outift details will be posted in upcoming posts so just keep up with me and see you in my next post!!!
